African countries with mountain gorillas

Mountain Gorillas are descendants of monkeys and wild apes found in Africa with a 98% DNA similarity to that of human beings.
These are apes found in the middle of East Africa; it was 9 million years ago that these apes separated from the Monkeys and chimps.
Mountain Gorillas are one of the subspecies found in the Eastern Gorilla.
Mountain Gorillas are reportedly endangered species located in Africa, one in Volcanoes in the northwest of Rwanda, virunga Volcanoes of the central part, mgahinga in the south west part of Uganda, Virunga in the Democratic Republican of Congo, and mainly Bwindi national park located in the southwest part of Uganda.
The number of Gorillas according to 2016 census the number has increased to 880
The mountain Gorillas are more different from the low land Gorillas,these lowland Gorillas are mainly found or located in some other countries and in zoos but the Mountain Gorillas can only survive in the thick bamboo forest of Bwindi and the Virugas.
One of the mountain gorilla countries is Uganda the ‘pearl of Africa’ with a number of 450 mountain Gorillas in ‘Bwindi national park’ and ‘Mgahinga national park’.
Over 12 families have been habituated and ready for trekking however, for those who prefer Gorilla habituation, it’s also done in Uganda and recently, Rwanda where a maximum of 4 people are allowed to visit the family for a minimum of 4 hours.
Rwanda is among the 3 countries with mountain Gorillas in the wild, this country is known as the country of a thousand hills, the country has 10 habituated Gorilla groups – all located in the volcanoes national park.
Gorilla trekking in Rwanda is more popular since the trekking started in Rwanda.
Given this, Rwanda receives more tourists for Gorilla trekking compared to other countries and the price of the permit is higher than the other countries.
Democratic Republican of Congo is the least with a small number of mountain Gorillas located in the Virunga national parks.
